For the first time, 24 teams, in six groups of four, will compete in next summer's tournament in France

 Euro 2016 takes place in France this summer with games taking place at 10 of the nation's most impressive and developed stadiums

Stade de Bordeaux 

The Stade de Bordeaux hosted it's first game on the last weekend of the 2014-15 Ligue 1 campaign and has a capacity of 42,000
The stadium replaced Stade Chaban-Delmas and is located between a man-made lake and the Garonne river in the north of the city


Stade Bollaert-Delelis 

The Stade Bollaer-Delelis is named after former mayor of the city Andre Delelis - a passionate supporter who passed away in 2012
Used during the 2007 Rugby World Cup, the rebuilding programme ahead of next summer's EURO 2016 will last until late 2015

Stade Pierre Mauroy 

The 50,000-seated Stade Pierre Mauroy was opened in 2012 and replaced theStade Grimonprez-Jooris and Stadium Lille Metropole
The arena's retractable roof can be opened or closed in 30 minutes - the stadium is also used for music gigs and other sporting events

Stade de Lyon 

The Stade de Lyon will host its first game in January and will also feature a training ground for the club as well as a hotel and offices
The finished venue will consist of three tiers and replaces Lyon's former home, the Stade de Gerland which hosted World Cup '98 matches

Stade Velodrome 

Having undergone a makover of nearly €270m, the Stade Velodrome boasts a capacity of 67,000 and creates an incredible atmosphere
The iconic stadium, which first opened in 1937, hosted matches during the 1938 and 1998 FIFA World Cups as well as two Euros

Stade de Nice 

The Stade de Nice, home to OGC Nice, is the sixth largest stadium in France and opened in 2012 with a spectacular pyrotechnic display
The stadium boasts more than 4,000 solar panels and uses rain water channelled from the roof into collection reservoirs for pitch watering

Parc des Princes

The Parc des Princes is home to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and was opened back in 1972 - the third stadium built on the site
The stadium has been renovated for the summer tournament with  new substitutes' benches and brand new executive boxes and lounges

Stade de France 

The Stade de France played host to the nation's famous 3-0 World Cup final victory over Brazil in 1998 as France became world champions
The stadium has hosted two Champions League finals - Real Madrid's 2000 victory and Barcelona's triumph six years later

Stade Geoffroy Guichard 

Saint-Etienne's atmospheric Stade Geoffroy Guichard is famed for its 'English-style' with four separate stands
The 42,000-seater stadium hosted matches at the 1984  European Championship and the 1998 FIFA World Cup

Stadium de Toulouse 

The Stadium de Toulouse has been named the 'mini Wembley' due its resemblance of England's national arena
